EPA e-Manifest workshops in Kansas

On June 30, 2018, the e-Manifest national system for tracking hazardous waste shipments electronically will begin. This system will modernize the nation’s cradle-to-grave hazardous waste tracking process while saving valuable time, resources, and dollars for industry and states.

To help prepare users for the new system, EPA will be hosting free workshops in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.  These workshops are free and available without registration for anyone who uses a hazardous waste manifest.  The three Kansas workshops are listed below, but see the detailed schedule here.

June 11: Wichita

June 13: Topeka

June 28: Olathe

EPA developed the workshops in cooperation with the four state environmental agencies -- Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Missouri Department of Natural Resources, and Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality.

If you have any questions about the workshops, please contact Rebecca Wenner (wenner.rebecca@epa.gov or 913-551-7644) or Marcus Rivas (rivas.marcus@epa.gov or 913-551-7669) both with EPA.
