Description: This annual conference provides updates on environmental issues, new technologies, regulatory information, and pollution prevention. The conference agenda can be viewed online.
On Tuesday, August 5, the KDHE Bureau of Waste Management will offer a beginner and advanced Hazardous Waste Generator workshop and the Bureau of Environmental Remediation will host a Brownfields Workshop. Cost of the workshops is included in your conference registration fee. The conference will kick off on Wednesday, August 6 with the Kansas Environment Update presented by John Mitchell, Director, KDHE Division of Environment. Breakout sessions will cover various topics related to air, water, waste, remediation, sustainability and pollution prevention.
Online registration is available, or you can print the registration form in the agenda to complete and mail in with your payment. The registration fee for the conference is $150. If attending a workshop only, there is no registration fee; however, you must still submit a completed registration form. Online registration closes July 21.
