Food waste is an issue in America – in fact, more than a third of the food we produce goes into the trash while 1 in 8 Americans are food insecure. Colleges and universities are in a key position to help tackle this problem through campus action and student education.​

​Join Jacob Larson from K-State’s Pollution Prevention Institute and guests from two Kansas colleges as they explore food waste in higher education.

By the end of this free webinar, you will:

  • Gain a deeper understanding on the significance of food waste.
  • Hear what two institutions are doing to address this problem.
  • Learn about the tools you can use to prevent and divert food waste from landfills.
  • Have an opportunity to ask questions in a concluding Q&A session.
