Free 2023 Hazardous Waste Generator Workshops
The basic workshop (offered in the morning 9 a.m. - Noon) is designed as an introductory course in Kansas HW Regulations (RCRA) including:
- Waste Determinations
- Container Management
- Generator Classifications Emergency Preparedness and Training Requirements
- What to Expect during an Inspection
The advanced workshop (offered in the afternoons 1:00 - 4:00 pm) will provide a more detailed look at the following (plus additional advanced topics):
- Regulatory Updates
- e-Manifest Solvent-Contaminated Wipes Rule
- K, U, and P-Listings
- F-Listings
- Used Oil Requirements
Additional advanced topics (time permitting):
- Universal Waste
- Outreach
- Compliance Training Manual
- Aerosol Cans
Feel free to attend one or both basic and advanced. Registration is required to ensure there are enough seats and to be able to contact participants if there is cancellations due to weather or change in venue due to size constraints.
Certificates will NOT be provided. If confirmation of attendance is needed, a KDHE representative can sign forms provided to them at the time of the workshop. No confirmations will be provided after the date of the workshop.
